Hanna Buck
Wivenhoe, Essex
Hi I’m Hanna, an artist based in East Anglia. I work out of my little studio on the coast. My work is a collection of thoughts and feelings, it’s how I interpret my surroundings. I love to paint abstract colourful pieces. Here you’ll find a selection of limited edition prints and maybe an exclusive or two!
Proudly independent
A few favourite PIECEs
It usually begins with a feeling that I want to express onto canvas. The material doesn’t really matter as long as I can get the colours out of my head and onto a surface. I tend to favour acrylics, they are rich in colour and can be used to create heavy, thick texture and intense marks.
I love the way colour makes me feel, its evokes happiness. Bright layers and texture all merging together brings me joy. I feel incredibly grateful that I get to do this for a living and even more so seeing my work hang in a gallery or on someone’s wall. I like to think my work manifests positivity even in times of darkness. If I had to define my work into words I’d say my art is a collection of experiences and feelings which have been translated in colour. It brings joy and hope that shines through.
