I create engaging imagery of animals and nature in which I strive to evoke emotion and ignite a sense of wonder about the natural world.
My recent paintings feature animals often considered ‘lower forms’ such as chickens, foxes or small birds and by placing them inside vintage ornate frames I am elevating their status into something to be cherished as treasure.
It is my belief that art has the power to transcend boundaries, touch hearts, and inspire positive change.

I have been creating art for more than 20 years, primarily from my studio in Walthamstow. I am a true animal lover and aspire to further the cause of animal welfare throughout my work.
I travel to India annually to source my visual and physical material which is clearly reflected in my palette and subject choices. During my travels, I absolutely fell in love with Indian street cows and spent many years solely painting them.
Powder pigments and stencils purchased in the markets (traditionally used during festival times) are used widely in my works. By setting the cows against a rich colourful and patterned background, inspired by the sari fabrics, I am depicting the spiritual reverence with which these imposing animals are regarded.
My path is clear and focused and I have spent many years working closely with animal charities, particularly in India.
