Manchester Heraldic Handkerchief Cotton Pocket Square

This Manchester coat of arms design was originally made with a linocut print, using traditional techniques, before being transferred to a contemporary print process onto the fabric. It is a classic heraldic design, showing a shield bearing the image of a ship, supported by a mythical antelope and a regal lion, and crowned by a globe covered in industrious worker bees. At the foot is the city's motto, Concilio Et Labore, which means 'by counsel and work'.
