Sea Sisters believe in making the humble whelk as popular as it is in Korea, so we have preserved this seaside delicacy with the flavours of Korea to create a delicious, spicy and bold taste experience. We recommend serving simply with steamed rice.
We are also delighted to have worked with textile artist Corissa Robinson who weaved beach-find rubbish from fishing nets into this beautiful piece of art that became the wrapper of our Kimchi Whelks.
Every tin of our British Conservas is made entirely by hand in our small craft cannery in Dorset. From carefully preparing the fish to packing and preserving each can, every step is done with care, creating a perfectly balanced can.
We work only with seasonal seafood, sourced through ethical and sustainable practices. This means we follow nature’s pace, not shortcuts, which can sometimes lead to longer wait times on delivery. Please be aware of this when ordering.
