Nuditea Genmaicha is a savoury, nutty green tea with a smooth umami taste, perfect for tea lovers who enjoy new discoveries. This Japanese classic blends toasted brown rice with Japanese Sencha green tea for a refreshing and easy-to-drink cup.
Ironically, this tea started its historic journey as Poor Man’s Tea, where pickers would ‘cut’ the tea with toasted rice to make it go further. Today it is drunk in celebration. The toasted rice lends a rich nutty flavour, while the Sencha base lightens the blend with fresh green tea notes.
