Personalised Hand-Marbled Ceramic Bauble

This ceramic bauble is marbled and personalised by hand in our London studio. Choose from three festive colours and add a name to be written on the side in gold ink. It is crowned with a gold decorative cap and threaded with glittery gold ribbon.

Each ceramic sphere has been carefully decorated using the centuries-old technique of marbling; now an endangered craft in the UK. It involves dropping paints carefully onto seaweed-thickened water, where they spreads across the surface and can be manipulated to make beautiful, intricate patterns. Each bauble is then carefully dipped into the marbling water, and as the floating paint touches the sides it adheres, forming swirls and whorls reminiscent of planets.

We will write your loved one's name on the side with gold ink, in elegant modern lettering that follows the flow of the paint. The gold ink complements the gold paint used in the bauble and catches the light with a subtle, cozy shimmer.
