Need to Know
- Choose spine engraving only, or spine and face engraving. The spine takes up to 30 characters and the face up to 150. All our engraving is in capital letters.
- For a pair, enter the second bookend's engraving in the Spine 2 and Face 2 fields.
- Made of solid European oak and hand engraved in our Kent workshop.
- Dimensions: approximately 20cm x 15cm x 7cm (each bookend).
- Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not soak or submerge the oak in water.
- Due to the personalised nature of this product, it is non-returnable/refundable.
- Our preferred gift wrap is hessian, a sustainably sourced natural product that beautifully complements our oak items. It retains its appearance during transport and is ideal for heavy items that would rip traditional wrapping.
- Hessian is reusable for wrapping, plant protection, or crafts, and is biodegradable in home compost.
- We use wide grosgrain ribbons for a deluxe look, with teal as our staple and deep red for Christmas. Preferences can be selected below.
- Don't forget to click 'this order is a gift' at checkout and add your gift message!

A personalised solid oak bookend, sold singly or as a pair, and beautifully hand engraved in our Kent workshop.
Bookends make great christening gifts, wedding or anniversary presents. Personalise with children's names, a couple's names or a significant date.
Why not choose a quote to put on the side of the bookend, such as:
'To read or not to read, what a silly question'
'Always remember you're BRAVER than you believe, STRONGER than you seem and SMARTER than you think'
'How do you spell love?' - Piglet. 'You don't spell it, you feel it' - Pooh
'As soon as I saw you I knew a grand adventure was about to happen' - Winnie-the-Pooh
