In March 2020 the UK went into National Lockdown - 49 days after Pivot incorporated as a business. We decided to design a product that people could send to their loved ones during this time of separation and created a “Hug Soon” Bookmark, of which we have now sold over 3000.
This bottle opener pays homage to that bookmark. Made from 2mm Stainless Steel, the hug creates an easy pivot point to prize open a bottle cap.
All proceeds from the sale of this bottle opener will go towards the running of our hostel programmes.
• Made from responsibly sourced stainless steel
• Supporting our vital work for people experiencing homelessness
• Presented in a hand-stamped presentation box with our mission statement
• Made in the UK

We design products that can be made in hostels, bringing flexible and meaningful employment for those with difficulty accessing it. Our products are made by and support people experiencing homelessness. Every purchase takes our Makers one step closer to their goal of leaving the hostel.
