We're Pivot, a social enterprise on a mission to change the world through ethical and sustainable jewellery.

We believe that fashion can be a force for good, and we're committed to empowering people experiencing homelessness by providing them with the skills and resources to create beautiful jewellery with real impact

Our founder, Alice, was inspired to create Pivot after participating in Year Here and working with Fat Macy's in a local homeless shelter. She saw how the lack of access to work through travel costs, structural barriers and missed hostel meal times created major obstacles for people in hostels. Alice saw an opportunity to create something that not only provided income and skills training but also helped to shift the narrative around homelessness, so Pivot was born!

Our mission is to bring purposeful, meaningful and flexible employment to those who might otherwise not have access to it, and in doing so giving them the confidence and skills they need to take steps away from temporary accommodation. Since our launch in 2020, we've been hard at work designing beautiful pieces of jewellery that tell a story and make a difference. From our signature recycled acetate earrings to our gorgeous hand-finished bangle, every item our Makers create is made with love and purpose.
