This decorative pottery bowl is made from stoneware clay. It is thrown on my pottery wheel and is finished with a roll over rim. This beautiful piece is decorated with hand pressed rose hips and leaves all around the bowl.
The rose hips and leaves are then hand painted before I dip in my tin white glaze that has beautiful speckles running through it..
Perfect as a breakfast bowl, for your cereal, or soup or for whipping up eggs or cream or for your fruit it will be the centre piece of your kitchen or dining room.
Approximate size is 8.5x 10cm

The Thoughtful Potter
taunton, somerset
Small batch artisan stoneware pottery hand made in my log cabin studio in Somerset.
I create functional pottery that feels delicious to hold in your hands. Hand thrown on Betty my pottery wheel my pots are very tactile, you can feel the artisanal making processes in each one.
My work is inspired by inspiring words, my love of nature and the beautiful Somerset countryside where I live.
My pottery is decorated by either imprinting flowers into the clay or free painting flowers, birds or fungi and are finished in my range of unique hand mixed glazes.
