MADE TO ORDER
Each Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our Devon studio. Please allow approximately 4 to 5 weeks for your shade to be made before dispatch.
MATERIALS AND LIGHTING
The shade is made using three layers: a reflective gold foil lining, a sturdy PVC lampshade panel and richly patterned velvet on the outside. This construction keeps the tropical colours beautifully deep and vibrant.
Light does not pass through the sides of the shade. Instead, it reflects from the gold interior, producing a warm, ambient glow from the top and bottom. Larger shades have wider openings and will therefore emit more light.
DESIGNS
Choose from Hawk Moth, Swallowtail, Ice Jungle, Rainforest, Magic Fruits, Acid Jungle, Cinnamon Enchanted Wood, Big Cat Blue and Big Cat Rust.
Pattern placement will vary according to the size of the lampshade and the section of velvet used. This means every shade will have its own individual arrangement of animals, flowers and foliage.
FITTINGS
Our lampshades use industry-standard ring sets suitable for UK and EU lamps, flexes and fittings. A removable reducing ring is included, allowing the 39mm EU fitting to be converted to a 29mm UK bayonet fitting.
Standard shades are not suitable for American-style harp fittings or lamps requiring a shade carrier. Alternative fittings may be available on request, so please contact us before ordering.
For a table or floor lamp, the bulb-holder fitting sits 4cm above the bottom of the shade. For a ceiling pendant, it sits 4cm below the top. For an arc floor lamp, please select the ceiling-pendant option so the fitting sits at the top of the shade.
Lamp bases, flexes and bulbs shown in the photographs are not included.

Available in three sizes:
12" x 10" / 30cm diameter x 25cm height
14" x 10" / 35cm diameter x 25cm height
16" x 10" / 40cm diameter x 25cm height

SAMPLES
Colours, textures and tones can appear differently across computer and mobile screens. We recommend requesting a free velvet sample before ordering. A maximum of five samples may be ordered per customer. Shipping charges apply.
BULBS
The correct bulb depends on the fitting and maximum wattage of your lamp or flex set. Please consult the manufacturer’s guidance before choosing a bulb.
Common fittings include the ES27, a large European screw bulb with a 27mm cap, and the B22, a standard UK bayonet bulb with a 22mm cap.
