This piece is made using free-motion embroidery with appliquéd gold fabric and metallic thread to capture the classic Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Bar in rich detail.

I’ve always loved these caramel wafer bars — a favourite of mine (along with the teacakes!). Growing up in the 1970s, I used to enjoy them at my grandma’s house, so this artwork is a nostalgic nod to those happy childhood memories.
