About the design: Created by artist Berry Aktuglu, founder of Atelier Maeve, Whimsical Tigers is a playful print full of charm, character and a little wild spirit. Her design features soft blue tigers wandering, stretching and playing across a fresh white background, surrounded by scattered abstract marks that give the print a lively, hand-drawn feel. The tigers may be wild at heart, but their curious poses and gentle expressions make them feel as playful and endearing as kittens. A fun and imaginative design, Whimsical Tigers brings a touch of jungle adventure to an everyday essential. Perfect for little explorers, animal lovers, and wild daydreamers. Artist Berry's reflections on the design: "I think we, as parents are here to let our children discover how to roar but at the same time teach them how to be delicate and kind.”

These muslins are extra large, you'll notice the difference!

At 110cm x 110cm in size, they are extra large muslins meaning extra useful.

A parenting essential, ideal for swaddling, mopping up spills, breastfeeding, a little extra warmth in the buggy, or even acting as a sunshade.

Sustainability
Our large muslins are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton by Chaitanya and his team in Northern India. All dyes are Oeko-Tex certified so have been tested to be safe and free from harmful chemicals.

By choosing organic cotton you’re making a good choice all round. It’s better for the environment since only natural processes are used to grow the cotton (e.g. ladybirds help to control pests rather than pesticides). No harmful chemicals (from pesticides or fertilizers) seep into waterways or degrade the soil. And less water is used compared to conventional cotton.

The GOTS certification also covers social standards like decent working hours and no child labour (which has shockingly been an issue in lots of cotton-growing areas around the world).

While a muslin blanket feels a world away from farmers’ fields, by choosing organic cotton you are helping to create a healthier environment for all those who make our products and for our future planet.
