Ingredients: Rum infused with cassia bark, cloves, pepper dulse seaweed and sea buckthorn.

Serve: on the rocks or as a dark & stormy. Also try using the artisan barrel-smoked cola and a slice of lime.

As seen on Channel 4’s Yorkshire by the Sea, our Whitby RNLI Dark Spiced Rum is a bold nod to the lifesavers of the sea. Distilled with cassia, clove and sea buckthorn, then aged in Madeira casks, it’s rich, warming and just a little wild.

Palate: aromatic fruits and treacle notes come through from the Madeira Wine Cask, which is perfectly balanced with molasses sweetness. A touch of sea buckthorn brings out the orange citrus flavour.

Appearance: a deep golden glow.

Nose: lightly spiced notes with a subtle hint of ripe fruitiness.
