I've always been interested in the objects we choose to live with and the role they play in our everyday lives. That interest led me to study Applied Arts and later work alongside artists and makers, where I developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, thoughtful design and the beauty of handmade objects.

While creativity has always been at the heart of what I do, I found myself drawn towards work that combined creativity with wellbeing and human connection. This led me to build a career within arts and health, supporting and facilitating creative opportunities that enrich people's lives. It's work that continues to inspire me and has shaped the way I think about the positive impact creativity can have on our everyday experiences.

In 2016, I co founded Clay Collective in London, a shared studio for ceramicists and artists working with clay. Being part of that creative community was transformative. It was there that I developed my confidence as a maker and took the leap into establishing Anna Jones Ceramics. The collective offered far more than studio space. It was a supportive network that played an important role in nurturing my ceramic practice and helping me grow the business in its early years.

I ran the business full time from 2017 and today balance my ceramics practice alongside a return to working in arts, health and social care.

Working from my Bristol studio, I create each piece in small batches using slip cast porcelain. I'm continually drawn to porcelain for its strength, delicacy and luminous quality. By colouring the clay itself, I create soft contemporary tones that allow the material to speak for itself. Every piece is carefully finished by hand, combining thoughtful design with everyday practicality.
