We are Karen & David, a husband & wife team & the Founders & Makers at the Belfast Bow Company. Founded in 2014 at our 'kitchen table' as a sideline alongside our 'real jobs', 11 years on we have nurtured the Belfast Bow Company into our full-time dream business.

We make Bow Ties, Ties, Pocket Squares & Cufflinks from a highly curated collection of local & heritage fabrics such as Liberty of London & Irish Linens sourced from within 5 miles of our workshop.

We pride ourselves on the fact that every single item is made by hand in our workshop before being packaged beautifully & sent all over the world everyday.

We vehemently reject the wasteful practices of fast fashion, choosing instead to create accessories by hand that are designed to be treasured for years to come. We could easily have 100's of fabrics & a factory floor full of staff, BUT our goal is to make the best accessories, not the most.

At its heart the Belfast Bow Company was born out of our shared love and fascination with beautifully made products - David has a passion for tailor-made tweed suits & vintage cars and I adore British made coats & fedora hats. We both believe in the inherent value of items that are made with genuine pride & care by someone who knows their craft, those are the things that will be treasured forever!

Our Bow Ties, Ties, Pocket Squares & Cufflinks are made with those exact values in mind. We make every single item ourselves in our workshop from the finest fabrics using traditional production methods & craftsmanship. We love that our accessories will be the finishing touch to a carefully chosen outfit for a dress-up day - the final flourish of detail & character that says so much about the personality & style of the wearer.
