Meet Blue Stiggy
Hi, I’m Michaela, founder of Blue Stiggy. I have a thing for old machines. So, bringing my vintage typewriter Dorothy and letterpress Daisy back into service to make contemporary eco-conscious stationery, is a joy!
My absolute favourite personalisations to type are those that make no sense to me at all, because that means that the words are truly special between the giver and receiver and I totally love that!
I work from my solar powered studio in the Lincolnshire countryside with my doggo (bonnie) close by. Fuelled by a loose leaf tea habit (always from my local amazing tea shop - Imperial Teas of Lincoln). I drive a 1969 VW van and love dancing and campfire cooking.
I founded Blue Stiggy after my husband had to leave his career to battle with cancer, so that I could work around caring for him and our children.
