Co-Founder, Pratima Chhabra, was desperate to enjoy Indian chai outside of her family home. As a type 1 diabetic, she found tasting the ‘chai’ blends on the market frustratingly difficult, as they were full of sugar and additives.

Leveraging Pratima’s family recipe, we quickly fell in love with creating the flavours of a traditional Masala Chai. After countless rounds of tastings and pivotal feedback, we moved from loose leaf tea to hand sealed tea bags and, arrived at our flagship tea flavours.

In 2020, we launched our 4 Spice Hot Chocolate which pays homage to Co-Founder Casey’s Caribbean heritage, as we experimented with her family’s traditional Cocoa Tea recipe. We were given the two very special seasonal launch opportunities in Nordstrom stores across the US as well as Tesco UK Superstores.

Continued flavour experiments helped us realise that we were not just a hot drinks brand. We define ourselves as a flavour company and the launch of our highly concentrated, sugar-free flavour drops in 2022 were confirmation of this.
