I have run my small business hand-crafting unique and stylish dog accessories from my home in Staffordshire since 2011. Initially, I made collars for our much-loved hounds Pecan, and Charlie, both no longer with us. Fellow dog walkers would comment on how well-made, beautiful, different and unconventional their collars looked, suggesting other dog lovers might like them too.

With that seed firmly planted, but with no insight into the pet industry I embarked on a self-instructed voyage into the business of dogs. I tentatively introduced my concept at provincial dog shows and eventually Crufts. This was a big learning curve but resulted in successfully selling my handmade products predominantly designed for sighthounds giving me confidence to expand my brand to all breeds.

Although I started Doggy Boho as an artistic outlet, my business has gone from strength to strength. Fast forward a few years and now we have Larry, another greyhound who is equally dedicated to modelling and road testing my creations.
