I source old jeans and repurpose them to produce lovely things for kids. Many of the jeans I use have rips, tears or stains, bringing them to the end of their life as an adult garment, but when washed and carefully disassembled, there’s plenty of denim left to create something new.
Everything at Double Denim is designed to become a well-worn favourite that will last for many a kid's adventure.

Hello! My name is Kerri and I am the face behind Double Denim Kids.
I started creating children's clothes for my own kid's when I couldn’t always find the kind of clothes I wanted for them. Having previously worked in the fashion industry I was able to put my previous design and production experience to good use and start designing and producing my own.
Practicality and functionality were fundamental - things that were easy to pull on and off and perfect for playing - but without being boring! I wanted clothes that were fun and original, showed some individuality and weren't a copy of everything else on the high street.
And in addition to that, durability and and sustainability were essential. Why damage the planet making clothes for kid's when we will be leaving that very planet to those very kids?! This led me to using reclaimed denim as my main "raw" material. Denim is robust and versatile and by using pre-existing fabric, there is no additional pollution produced from producing new.
