The story behind the business
Meet From Paula, with Love
Paula is a Brazilian ceramicist based in London, with a background in Architecture and a love for design, colour and making things by hand.
Her journey with clay began in childhood, painting little pots and bringing them home, lots of them!
She's always been drawn to creativity, from drawing for as long as she can remember to making and selling handmade jewellery at the age of 12.
Years later, as a mum, she found herself surrounded by piles of drawings made by her children. Too precious to throw away, yet too many to keep forever, they sparked an idea: what if these little creations could become something we use and treasure every day?
And so, Illustrated by Little Hands was born — transforming children's drawings into handmade ceramic pieces, preserving a little piece of childhood in something made to last.
