Hello, I’m Dina, the designer and founder of Hue & Shades.

Hue & Shades began with a rescued lampshade, a spool of cotton and a quiet creative impulse to re-imagine something destined for the skip. What started as a up-cycled piece for my children’s room evolved into a growing collection of woven lighting, each one designed to be both functional and joyful.

I work with carefully sourced natural yarns, ranging from recycle cottons to soft bamboo remnants, to create a range of tactile finishes and tonal depth. Each piece is made with precision and intention, balancing craft with design expertise to create the perfect balance of soft light, mixed with a bit of fun for your home.
