Having working in the fashion and costume industry in London and New York, I went back to do an MA in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design and from here I launched my own studio, knitting homeware, accessories and baby blankets. I work exclusively with Geelong wool, sourced from a West Yorkshire mill, which I love for my baby blankets as it is super soft, like cashmere, but can be washed on a 30 cycle in the machine.

I started making personalised baby blanket after my son Pip was born and wanted a blanket for his pram. This lead to me creating a small collection of personalised baby blankets, and since then I have explored many colour ranges. Each blanket is made to order and knitted to size so there is no waste in my making process, which as a maker, I feel a huge responsibility to reduce my impact on the environment.

My creative practise covers knitwear and art, working in a multi-media approach involving knitting, felting, painting and tying. My work has been shaped by the work of Betty Parsons, Constantine Brancusi, Frances Palmer and Giorgio Morandi.
