Growing up in France, I got used to easy access to artisan chocolates. After moving to the Kent coast, I was inspired by the local creatives of Margate and started making my own - first to quench my own cravings, and then to tend to others'.

These small batch ganache chocolates are made on the chalky clifftops of Cliftonville, using local inspiration. Be it the honey harvested less than a mile from my home, or the artists who kindly created vignettes for my gift boxes, I love delving in what our local community has to offer.

My love for making extends through to the boxes. Each one is hand printed on card made from recycled coffee cups, then individually folded using traditional origami techniques.

I take great joy in making each and every one of La Mère selections, and hope you will enjoy eating them just as much as I do creating them.
