I started my lino printing journey at 19, right after finishing school. At that point, I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do with my life. I knew I liked making things, I loved art and craft, but the path forward wasn’t clear.

My first real encounter with lino printing came through my mum. She had dabbled in it herself over the years and would occasionally show me her prints. There was something about the process—the way a design emerges from carving into a block, the anticipation of seeing the first inked impression—that immediately fascinated me. One day, I decided to give it a try myself.

Now, my lino printing practice is more than just a hobby. It’s a creative outlet, a small business, and a way to connect with people who enjoy handmade art as much as I do. Every time I carve a new design, ink a block, or lift a fresh print from the press, I remember why I began this journey at 19: curiosity, playfulness, and a desire to create something tangible from my imagination.

That spark of wonder continues to guide me, and I hope it shines through in every print I make.
