I started my lino printing journey at 19, right after finishing school. At that point, I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do with my life. I knew I liked making things, I loved art and craft, but that was about it.

I’d had some brief encounters with Lino and my mum occasionally did it as an artist herself. There was something about the process—the way a design emerges from carving into a block, the anticipation of seeing the first inked impression—that immediately fascinated me, so I decided to give it a try myself.

Now, my lino printing practice is more than just a hobby. It’s a creative outlet, a small business, and a way to connect with people who enjoy handmade art as much as I do. Every time I carve a new design, ink a block, or lift a fresh print from the press, I remember why I began this journey at 19: curiosity, expression, and a desire to put beautiful things I saw in real life into beautiful prints on paper.
