Family run and rooted in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. We are a social enterprise with community at our core as we continue to support Flourish NI. As well as in Bolivia restoring an animal sanctuary and rewilding the Amazon rainforest.

Meet Melters Chocolate
Hey! We are the Magee Family - proud owners of Melters Chocolate in Ballymena.
We originally took over and built on the well-established Refuge Chocolate brand, a Northern Irish social enterprise known for its delicious handcrafted treats and its Do-Good-Food ethos. It's not only the love of chocolate that is a driver but its a real brand striving to better the community and environment around them. In Bolivia, we’re helping restore a wildlife reserve in an area devastated by deforestation - regenerating the land, supporting local jobs and building towards a future where we can grow our own cacao.
Now, as Melters Chocolate, we’re carrying that spirit forward with fresh energy, ethical ingredients and putting the cacao back in chocolate!
