The story behind the business
Meet Mimi & Mots
MIMI & MOTS was an idea I had in late 2025 when I decided I wanted to start something of my own - something creative, using bright colors and fun designs. My daughter is Marina, (MIMI to her friends and family), and the MOTS part represents of all 3 of my children - Marina, Oscar and Toby.
For the last 12 years I have had the most important job, being Mummy, and I wouldn't change that for the world, but for a while now I have wanted to start something alongside. I have no idea where it will go, but I do know that I will regret not giving it a try!
Everything is hand painted by myself around our kitchen table at home on the Isle of Wight - it's chaos at times but we are all embracing it and my youngest loves to have all the paints around!
