Naomi Anderson Subryan

London

Hello, I am a London based illustrator and maker working in a variety of mediums. I am a kitsch enthusiast, lover of colour and collector of Bric-A-Brac. My work is often inspired by the objects I like to surround myself with - the kinds of things we place on a shelf or mantelpiece that make us happy. I like to create things that are both vaguely familiar and yet unlike anything else.

The story behind the business
Meet Naomi Anderson Subryan

Hi, I'm Naomi and I'm a freelance illustrator and maker from South East London. Alongside my freelance career - where I have worked with clients such as The New York Times, Nooworks, The Guardian, Who Gives A Crap, Time Out, LEGO and many more - I enjoy dreaming up unique designs and objects that spark joy.

Since graduating from Camberwell College of Arts in 2019, I have been producing my brightly coloured paper-cut and ceramic creations from my home studio in London. My paper collages are all hand-cut and constructed using hand-painted papers, and my ceramics are predominantly made using earthenware clay and decorated with a mixture of underglaze and brush on glazes. Inspired by my love and ever growing collection of all things "kitsch" I hope you'll find something in my store that'll bring a smile to your face and be the perfect addition to your home/space.
