Hi, I am Joanna the (only) person to make all these items you see in my shop. I have always been a creative person, passionate about making products that are reusable and will stand the test of time. That is why I love working with leather so much. It only gets better with age. There are so many things you can do with it too, stamping, burnishing, engraving, dying, painting etc. I love the idea of making products that produce memories people treasure forever.

Meet Parkin & Lewis
I have been selling online since 2010 and I have loved every minute of it. Back then my business was called 'Joanna Parkin' but since getting married in 2014 I wanted to include both names.
Parkin & Lewis started from my lounge in our one bedroom flat in Clapham. 13 years on I now have a dedicated studio that I don't feel guilty about leaving in a 'creative mess'!
My studio is definitely my happy place. I am a huge fidget so I am constantly designing and coming up with new ideas. No two days are ever the same and that is what I love.
I love the idea that the pieces I make can be used again and again and change and age as the years go by. That is the amazing thing about leather, the patina it develops over time.
