The New Forest
From as young as I can remember, I have loved and cherished the outdoors, having often used it as a sanctuary during challenging times in the past. Whether crafting with twigs or foraging alongside my father, nature has always been a significant part of my life.
Jewellery has been a passion of mine for many years. My journey began at age eight, making friendship bracelets in a pottery class, and evolved to silver wire-wrapping sea glass in later years. Each step has led me closer to where I am meant to be—here, creating unique pieces that reflect my connection to the natural world.
Becoming a mother to our two beautiful daughters, Winnie and Piper, has inspired me and fostered growth in ways I could never have imagined. Lastly, none of this would be possible without my husband, Angus.
I'm passionate about creating unique jewelry pieces using the ancient lost wax casting process. I start by sanding sculpting or moulding intricate designs into wax, carefully crafting every detail by hand using a variety of tools. Once I'm happy with the design, I invest the wax model in a refractory material and cast it in precious metals like silver or gold. To add finishing touches, I use hand tools to carve and refine the metal, and also to write any engraving in my pieces. The lost wax process allows me to create complex and organic shapes, and the handmade touch gives each piece a personal feel.
