Hello, I am Katy the hands behind the stitching of Pixiecraft. I create colourful hand embroidered artwork from my illustrations with every piece being stitched together by hand. Hand embroidery is a slow art that brings a little magic into every piece. With designs based around promoting positive mental health and uplifting words I bring together words and design to craft art that can bring a little sunshine into every day.

Pixiecraft began in 2011 when I taught myself to sew but quickly grew bored of commercial patterns and began to design my own and thus Pixiecraft was born. Over the years the business has grown and changed with me but at the heart of it has always been creating joyful hand embroidered pieces of art with a love of colour and words being a strong influence.
Pixiecraft has always been a family business facilitating me to be present in raising and home educating my two young daughters who now love to help out with the business in packaging up parcels.
