The search for a beautiful parasol for my own garden began in 2023. While colourful beach parasols were easy to find, a traditional garden parasol that could withstand year-round British weather while serving as a beautiful centre piece for the garden was seemingly impossible to find.

I scoured the pages of house and garden magazines. I drunk up the images of homes with layers of beautiful fabrics; on curtains, cushions, upholstered sofas and lampshades. I wondered why the same levels of style, warmth and colour weren't applied to garden parasols.

I spent the next 12 months scouring the globe (and often the world of luxury yachts) to find the most beautiful and most durable fabrics. I uncovered skilled craftspeople, expert makers and the right partners to work with.

Today, our parasols can be found in homes and hotels across Europe. Every canopy is made to order in our Cornwall workshop, marrying timeless craftsmanship with the world's finest outdoor fabrics to create gardens as thoughtfully dressed as the homes they surround.
