Based in Devon, South West England, I'm a basket maker • designer • teacher who handcrafts willow baskets, backpacks, statement lighting features and chair seating. Always inspired by UK heritage baskets, I celebrate the craft form that I love by making beautiful, practical and innovative baskets. My aim is to combine traditional English basketry techniques with a contemporary twist whilst highlighting the beauty of natural materials, in so doing creating pieces that are perfect for modern living.In 2025 I was awarded Maker in Residence at Kelmscott Manor in Oxfordshire, (once the cherished home of William Morris, the great designer-craftsman, writer, conservationist and revolutionary socialist). This truly inspirational and transformative time has led me to expand my craft practice, at my core holding ever true to Morris's vision and values, championing traditional techniques, innovation and craftsmanship.
