Meet Studio Wald

Studio Wald began with two designers, a shared love of making, and a passion for creating beautiful things inspired by the natural world.

We’re Jakob and Freya, a husband and wife team who first met while studying 3D Design. What started as a shared creative journey has grown into our family business, built from our home city of Leeds, where we now design, make, and pack our ever-evolving collection of botanical-inspired products.

Alongside running Studio Wald, we’re also proud parents to three little humans, who keep us inspired, curious, and always looking at the world with fresh eyes. Our Leeds riverside studio has become the heart of our business — a place where ideas are sketched, materials are explored, and new creations are brought to life.

From our much-loved flower presses and paper goods to our homewares and art prints, every piece is thoughtfully designed and made in England with care and attention to detail. We’re fascinated by the beauty of nature, the joy of collecting, and the simple pleasure of creating something with your own hands.

Our designs celebrate botanicals, patterns, and the processes behind making — from the first spark of an idea through to the finished product ready to find a home. We’re passionate about creating pieces that encourage creativity, connection with nature, and moments of everyday wonder.
