My name is Sarah Bishop and all my life I've been a creative. At 25 my husband Ash & I achieved our city & guilds in signwork. This is where we were taught how to signwrite, gild, acid etch, heraldry and many other skills. Whilst there we learnt the amazing history of the original Brilliant Sign Co. whose work was still on our high streets 70 years on. They sadly went out of business in 1977, and we resurrected the company name in 1999, We have since made many bar fronts and interiors, changed the faces of lots of high street shops, painted & gilded a cathedral ceiling and worked for the royal household, amongst much more all over the country. Occasionally I’ll go back to my passion of decorating gypsy caravans, but most importantly letters and a vintage sense of style are still a fascination with me after 30 years in the craft.
