We are a small business situated in a little garden studio, consisting of only two employees, who have created a collection of fun, unique and original decor pieces and wooden toys designed for children.
We pride ourselves on creating modern and playful designs which connect to nature through texture, pattern and tone.
We love to give our customers as much choice as possible and have a large selection of our collection able to be customised. From picking your own paint colours to customising a wooden rainbow to match your nursery, or choosing the engraving on our toys.
All of our painted pieces are painted by hand and our products are carefully packaged in eco-friendly materials (99% of our products have plastic free packaging!).

The story behind the business
Meet The Wood Cove
Founded in the Summer of 2011 by graphic designer (and then university student) Bethany, The Wood Cove began with our signature pennant flags. Creating thousands of little flags to decorate children's rooms and nurseries lead to our product range growing to include not only decorative pieces but our unique toys too.
Each of our toys are designed in house and brought to life by a small team of carpenters, with our pieces predominantly made from European beech wood. We use clay/water based paints to create pieces which are not only aesthetically beautiful as decorative items but are functional and educational toys too.
From a single product, we can create endless possibilities. We are continually adding to our range and delight in seeing our pieces featured in your homes around the world.
