Hello! I'm Claire, aka Cardi C, the founder of Tuesday's Child.

Tuesday's Child is full of Grace... And that's where it all began!

When my daughter, Grace, was born during lockdown - just after I’d been made redundant - I suddenly found myself at home more than ever. So I created something special just for her: a personalised name knit.

I’ve always loved knitwear, but adding hand-embroidery made it truly one of a kind — something to be treasured forever.

I started making pieces for friends & family - the response was incredible!

That’s when I knew I wanted to share it more widely… with you.

Since launching Tuesday’s Child in 2022, I’ve hand-embroidered thousands of personalised pieces for babies across the UK & beyond. Today, the collection includes denim jackets, blankets, accessories & seasonal edits — all made to be worn, gifted, and treasured.

The story behind the business

Meet Tuesday’s Child

Back in 2020, I lost my job as a Brand Manager whilst pregnant.

When my daughter, Grace, was born during lockdown, I was at home a lot more so set about personalising her very own knit to wear.

I’ve always been a fan of knitwear (just ask my seven-year-old son – also born on a Tuesday!) but adding embroidery to it just made it extra special, one-of-a-kind and an heirloom to treasure forever.

I started making them for all my loved ones who had babies, whether they were newborn gifts or Christmas & birthday presents; I was amazed by the love they got. So, I’ve decided to share the love… with you!
