Twinn Pottery
Essex
Twinn Pottery is the studio practice of Faye Twinn.
I take great pride in quietly crafting small batches of simple homewares from my little garden studio. I mainly work with British pan-milled stoneware and studio blended glaze to create neutral, eco-conscious and mindfully made everyday items.
The work and inspiration was born from an understanding that we need to live slower for our planet, and our well-being.
Sustainability is also at the core of my practice. Suppliers are carefully selecting to ensure ethical and environmentally responsible sourcing. Prioritising the planet about anything else.

I predominately grew up in Devon and Cornwall where I trained in Sculpture at Falmouth University and later studied an MA at Central Saint Martins. I went on to teach fine art in further and higher education for over 10 years before choosing to embrace pottery full-time.
I am completely self taught in ceramics and started by purchasing a second-hand wheel and investing many hours into throwing wonky pots. I am a late discovered autistic introvert that loves nothing more than working alone in my studio. It really is my happy place.
I’m also a mother and love swimming. If I am not in the studio or on a school run then I will always strive to be beside the waters edge or to have my nose in a good book.
