Pubs offer something that is almost undefinable. They are a place that has quiet nights where only the regulars pop in, and big parties full of life, colour and music. They provide bands with their first gigs, authors with inspiration, artists with an opportunity to hang their work on a wall, and much more. Every pub has seen love, life, happiness, joy, shared stories, laughter, first drinks, farewell drinks, parties… these things and more are what pubs give us.

My name is John, and this is why I paint pubs. I’m based in Nottingham when you place an order from me and I’ll sit down at my desk in my shed with brushes, paints and pens, and I’ll get started.
