Our jute macrame bags are handcrafted by women living in remote rural villages in southern Bangladesh. These women work from their homes, in between caring for their families and traditionally tending the land. They are paid directly for their work, empowering them within their own society. The Jacksons are proud to support the education, healthcare and livelihoods of these craftspeople who have become Louise Jackson’s “extended family.”
