Need to Know
  • Personalisation is included.  Please specify the gender, skin colour (letter from chart) and hair colour (number from chart) for each figure.
  • Each Glass Cathedral is handmade by the artist, and individually titled, signed and dated.
  • Medium & Materials: The miniature scenes are housed in white-painted wooden boxes, fronted by glass. The figurines are painted, and at times augmented with clay, paper, glitter and sequins.
  • Box specifications: 30 x 20 x 8cm (12 x 8 x 3"). Weighs approx 1kg. Scale of scene: 1:87. 
  • Glass Cathedrals are open editions, made to order.
  • Glass Cathedrals have a french cleat built into the top back of the frame. They hang on a nail or French cleat (provided) on the wall, or can sit on a shelf.
  • Care: Display away from direct sunlight and avoid humid conditions (e.g. bathrooms). Glass can be taken out and cleaned with normal glass cleaner.
  • Because each order is handmade, they may vary slightly from photos.
  • They come packed in a lovely bespoke kraft box.
  • Due to the personalised nature of this product, it is non-refundable unless faulty/damaged.

This miniature 3D art diorama shows a tiny child wearing armbands, about to swim in a giant sparkling blue pool. It that expresses a feeling many can relate to - of being vulnerable and brave at the same time. The challenge of 'diving in' but the reassurance of 'armbands’ - literal or metaphorical- to support us and inspire courage and action.

You have the option to personalise the figures' gender, skin and hair colour.
