Give the gift of love! Bart with the Heart is the ducky friend who cares, holding a love heart under the wing.
The perfect companion for a loved one, be it a birthday, Valentine, Mother's Day or other occasion of joy, this handmade buddy holds a heart in his wing and will be by your side for life.
Need to know
I start with wheel-thrown white stoneware clay, then add on hand-built ducky features and heart, underglaze the colours, biscuit fire to 900'c then transparent glaze and fire to stoneware 1220'c. At this temperature the glaze becomes glossy and smooth and you're left with a new ceramic companion.
