Lettering guide showing the four different options for various products - 'Thick and Thin', a more elegant, old-fashioned lettering style, 'Casual' - a fun, quirkier but still professional bold text, 'Script', a bouncy, fun lettering style and 'Block' - more basic capitals perfect for being bold.
Need to Know
  • Personalise your letter: choose a single letter, a colour for the background and shade, and a lettering style (Block, Casual, or Thick and Thin). All three choices are required.
  • Sizing varies depending on my frame stock and the chosen letter, however usually each piece will be approx 25-35cm tall.
  • Sold framed in black, ready to hang.
  • Each piece is painted and gilded by hand with 22ct gold; I do not screen, mask or print my signs, so small flaws and imperfections are to be expected.
  • Please see the final photo for an example of a range of colours I can use - these may appear slightly different on different screens!
  • Feel free to send over a pantone or RAL colour of the background colour you’d like, but please note that I colour-match by eye and so it may not be exact, but as close as I can get it.
  • Due to the personalised nature of this product, it is non-refundable unless faulty/damaged.

A hand-painted gold leaf letter on glass, framed and ready to hang. I lovingly create each letter piece purely by hand, beginning by drawing the letter you’ve supplied in the style you’ve chosen - block, casual, or thick and thin. I faux etch the letter fill before using a traditional glass gilding technique with 22ct gold, outline the letter and finish with a shade and background colour of your choice.

Each piece is painted and gilded by hand, with subtle variations that make it truly unique. The whole piece is set in a black frame, ready to hang.
