Description

Ceramic planter, succulent pot or cactus plant pot.

The pot is cast from a takeaway coffee cup with a tactile corrugated cardboard ceramic texture. It is great as a ceramic pot plant. It is part of the Corrugated and Cream range of ceramics. A succulent plant is a great small pot plant to use as they are very hardy and don't need much watering. Cuttings are easy from succulents and they always grow so you have to give away to your friends! Good as a home or garden pot.

The pot is left to dry slowly and fired to a high kiln temperature. This ensures that it is frost proof and dishwasher proof. All glazes are lead free. Each pot is signed with Helen's makers mark.

Rebecca Ceramics embraces the crossover space between art, craft and design. Objects and designs play with our sense of what is familiar, functional and beautiful. Each piece is a curious balance between the raw materiality of clay and glaze and an object’s function or purpose.

Rebecca Ceramics loves to collaborate. Recent commissions have included works for Aberdeen Standard Life, Chateau Villepreux and a design collaboration with UK fashion designer Olivia Ruben. Several media have featured Rebecca Ceramics work including most recently; The Great Pottery Throwdown, Channel 4’s Inside Out Homes, Etc Magazine, Landscape Magazine and more.
