Bring a touch of art to your kitchen with this handmade ceramic butter dish. Inspired by the paintings and patterns of Bloomsbury Artist, Vanessa Bell (1879-1961), the 'Nessa' pattern is hand-painted with unique designs in coloured underglaze. Each one is completely unique and handmade in my garden studio in Sussex, England.
The speckles come from little flecks of iron within the body of the clay, creating a lovely effect on the surface when the piece is fired.
