This ceramic 'Nessa' butter dish is handpainted with pink flowers and blue stripes, inspired by the paintings and patterns of Bloomsbury Artist, Vanessa Bell (1879-1961). Each one is completely unique and handmade in my garden studio in Sussex, England.
The pattern is handpainted with unique designs in coloured underglaze. The speckles come from little flecks of iron within the body of the clay, which create a lovely effect on the surface when the piece is fired.
This range is food-safe, hard-wearing and suitable for microwaves and dishwashers.
