Got a question about this product?
These colourful animals evoke a nostalgia for circuses and toys of a byegone era.
Made using old Meccano wheels and fixings which give an authentic vintage look. Each one has been cut, painted and assembled by hand for a scratch-built, rustic appearance.
The giraffe comes in two sizes and looks great as an adult/baby pair.
Large 34cm tall
Small 22cm tall
Please Note: These products are made from reclaimed materials that may be rusty, worn or starting to perish. This is part of the charm of the piece and may change over time with the natural ageing of the materials.
This is a collectable, decorative piece and should not be used as a toy.

Hi, I'm Karen and I'm the sole pair of hands behind Kettle of Fish Designs.
My work has a distinctive style - it's made for homes which have a personality that develops over time and doesn't necessarily follow trends. Many of the materials I use are recycled, reclaimed, repurposed or upcycled and this enhances the distinctive character that you only get from handmade.
I combine vintage imagery with a rustic aesthetic, so my pieces really suit environments that combine inherited pieces, quirky collections and secondhand finds.
