Coffee in Hanoi...

Coffee in Hanoi

This print was inspired by a trip to Vietnam earlier this year. I loved the divisions and shutters that separated the public world from the inner world. This print shows a cat sat next to a pair of slippers through a half open door, looking across the road at a coffee shop on the other side of the street.
This is not based on a real place but rather a mix of memories and influences from the trip.

Linocut by it's nature is an inexact art form, so each print may have small irregularities though I do my best to get a perfect print each time.
