Every home needs a flock of colourful birds! Four richly patterned paper birds float gently from this handmade mobile, ready to hang in a doorway or wherever light and shadows will catch their wings. 

With their folk-art inspired decoration and bold colour palette these cut and folded paper birds are a happy match for mid-century modern and lusciously bohemian interiors. They've found their way across the world to adorn wedding venues, workrooms, elegant hallways and dreary offices alike. Mobiles also make a perfect gift for a new baby. The undersides of these birds bear a black and white feather pattern - ideal for intriguing little eyes as the birds swing softly above the crib.

Need to know

Made from cut and folded heavy weight paper printed in the UK from my own designs, plus hand-shaped copper wire and strong fishing line. Each mobile is hand-cut and assembled by me, so each one is unique. The complete mobile has a drop of approximately 40cm, and each bird is approximately 10cm long.

Your mobile will arrive folded flat in an A5 size presentation envelope, ready to unfold or send on as a special gift. Please display away from damp or steamy areas, and out of the reach of little hands.

I'm an illustrator, designer and author with a love of pattern, wiggly lines and colourful, joy-filled homes. I hand-make richly patterned paper bird mobiles in my home studio, and design greetings cards, papergoods and jolly enamel mugs for you to use in your own home or gift with love.

I'm often inspired by family life and that special place of play and wonder that small children are immersed in and us adults are often seeking to rediscover. My wish is that my designs spark happiness, create connection and bring a little bit of retro nostalgia wherever they go.
