Inspired by the late Winter colours of the folds of hills in the Perthshire landscape near where we live, this fold-out concertina card shows a hilly scene on one side and a couple of painted cottages and grazing sheep on the other. Perfect for walkers, outdoor lovers and homesick Scots, this concertina card is designed to adorn a mantelpiece or shelf as a peaceful, fresh-air frieze, long after the message you write in the space on the reverse has been read and enjoyed.

My mixed media illustration combines paint, inks and coloured pencil in lively mark-making to give an impression of a landscape sleeping, yet full of life. Hill and Glen is printed on smooth uncoated card stock, hand-cut and concertina folded to create an extra-special greetings card to treasure.
